The two solid types of heat pumps are the compression heat pumps, which can operate with the use of the mechanical energy and can be driven with the use of electricity; and the absorption heat pumps, which can be fueled through the use of burnable fuels, like LP gas or natural gas. The device or the equipment manufactured or designed as a closed vessel where any kinds of fluids, like the water is being placed and heated is called as the boiler, but despites of its name, it does not necessarily boil the fluids. The vaporized fluid or the heated fluid inside the boiler will exit the equipment and can be used in different purposes and applications, such as cooking, sanitation, water heating, central heating, and boiler-based power generation. Some of the common source of heat energy for boilers are wood, oil, natural gas, coal, resistance-type heating elements, immersion-type heating elements, nuclear fission, and gas turbine. Some of the different kinds of boilers are pot boiler or Haycock boiler, flued boiler, fire-tube boiler, sectional boiler, fire-tube boiler, and water-tube boiler.
